Forrest Yoga is a healing, all-levels practice created by Ana Forrest that rests on the pillars of breath, strength, integrity, and spirit. Each morning of this program, you can expect a strong Forrest Yoga asana practice. Afternoons are dedicated to workshops on ritual, ceremony, and self-care. Evenings include pranayama, meditation, more ceremonial explorations, and outdoor gatherings on the pristine Pacifica campus and world-class Santa Barbara-area beaches.

Erica Mather is a natural-born teacher who began teaching at age 17 and now studies pedagogy through education, learning, and leadership. She cares most about her students’ freedom, and as a result created the Adore Your Body System for feeling free in the body, and also The Yoga Clinic, where students, teachers, and health professionals can learn about empowered self-care for the body. Erica is a Forrest Yoga Guardian, hand-picked by Ana Forrest to become one of a handful of senior teachers in the Forrest Yoga tribe. Brian Campbell’s passion is teaching people how to use bodywork and yoga to increase vitality and relieve pain. In 2007, Ana Forrest asked Brian to become a Guardian teacher, the highest level of distinction in the Forrest Yoga system. He is also a certified massage therapist with 16 years of experience, specializing in treating pain, and was a lead instructor at the Shiatsu Massage School of California from 2006 to 2014. Brian teaches anatomy for yoga teacher trainings worldwide, including Bhakti Yoga, vinyasa, Forrest Yoga, Hot Yoga, and Yogabarre.
Kristin Lovelace has been teaching since 2001 and founded Innerstellar Pilates & Yoga in Berkeley, CA, in 2011. She is a Lead Teacher in Innerstellar’s Stellarflow Yoga Teacher Training as well as the Forrest Yoga Mentorship Program & Continuing Education trainings, and takes great pleasure in working with her trainees. She brings to her teaching her expertise in leadership, business and career development, physical and energetic anatomy instruction, pre- and postnatal Forrest Yoga and empathic hands on healing.
Gregory Jamiel, senior Forrest Yoga teacher, traditional ceremonial worker, and three-time Emmy Award winning designer, began practicing yoga at a young age and quickly realized its positive effects on connecting body, mind, and spirit. Greg’s passion for helping people remember and uncover their truth is evident in every class he teaches. Our place in nature is another powerful theme Greg weaves into his classes, presenting lessons from Grandfather Fire, plants, and the four directions in a way that is understandable and accessible to contemporary practitioners.
