Hwy 101 North: When you reach Carpinteria, take the Santa Monica Rd exit and turn right at the stop sign. Turn right again at the corner of Santa Ynez and Via Real, go over the freeway bridge, and continue to the signal lights. The Inn will be on your left at the corner of Santa Ynez and Carpinteria Ave.
Driving Directions From North
Hwy 101 South: Approximately 10 miles past Santa Barbara to the Reynolds Ave exit and continue to the stop sign. The Inn will be on your right at the corner of Carpinteria Ave and Santa Ynez Ave.
Travel:
Major airlines provide service into the Los Angeles International Airport located 90 miles south of Santa Barbara and into the Santa Barbara Municipal Airport, approximately 18 miles from the Campus.

Accommodations in the Residence Hall at Pacifica’s Ladera Lane Campus consist of standard, single rooms. These rooms include a full or twin-sized bed, sink, mirror, desk, chair, small desk fan, and alarm clock, as well as shelves and hangers for clothing. All linens and towels are included. Our Residence Hall has shared men’s and women’s bathroom and shower facilities. All shower stalls include bath mat and soap. We recommend that guests bring all of their own toiletries. Our recently renovated Semi-Suite rooms, located on the second floor of the Main Building, include a queen-sized bed with a shared bath and shower per every two rooms. Additionally, there are two Private Suites, which include a queen size bed with private bathroom and shower.
The Residence Hall has a Guest Lounge on the First Floor, complete with couches and a large screen TV. There is also a small kitchenette with refrigerator, water dispenser, and microwave.

Cancellations
Full refunds for registrations and lodging will be provided up to 14 days prior to an event. Cancellations made 13-6 days prior will receive a 50% refund. There is no refund for registrations or lodging cancellations made within 5 days of your arrival or if you do not show up or leave a program or event early. The Retreat at Pacifica reserves the right to cancel any program at any time. In this instance, you will be refunded in full.
Continuing Education Credit
Pacifica Graduate Institute is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs. Pacifica Graduate Institute maintains responsibility for each program and its content. Full day attendance is required to receive a certificate.
Continuing Education Goal. Pacifica Graduate Institute is committed to offering continuing education courses to train LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs to treat any client in an ethically and clinically sound manner based upon current accepted standards of practice. Course completion certificates will be awarded at the conclusion of the training and upon participant’s submission of his or her completed evaluation.
CECs and Online Program Attendance Participants requesting Continuing Education Credits (CECs) for Online programs must attend all live sessions (offered via Zoom) in order to receive CECs. Please make sure that your Zoom account name matches the name of the attendee requesting CECs.

What are my transportation and parking options?
If you are not renting a car, transportation is available to Santa Barbara from LAX airport via the Santa Barbara Airbus. Amtrak stops in both Carpinteria and Santa Barbara. Taxi service is available from Santa Barbara Airport, and all public transportation depots.
Open parking is available at our Ladera Lane Campus 7 days a week, and at our Lambert Road Campus on Saturdays and Sundays only. If you are traveling to our Lambert Road Campus Monday-Friday, please call reception at (805)969.3626 ext. 101 to reserve a parking space.
How does the check-in and check-out process work?
Please check-in with reception at the Ladera Lane Front Lobby any time after 3 pm. You will be given a key to your room at that time. Check out time is 11 am. Please return your key to the front desk when checking out. Please do not leave the key in the room. We greatly appreciate your timeliness in the check-out process. This allows our housekeeping staff to turn the rooms around before our next program checks in.
Which meals are included in my stay?
Program meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner for the days that you are in session. The last day of the session will typically include breakfast and lunch. If you are arriving early (one or more days prior to your program start date) dining services will not be provided.
What types of meals do you offer? What if I have dietary concerns?
Our catering company offers healthy, whole meals. They offer vegetarian as well as vegan options and include local and organic ingredients whenever possible. If you have medically restricted dietary concerns, please note it on your registration form.
